DDA Performs at So You Think You Can Dance!
What an amazing weekend! DDA was the only area dance studio to be invited to perform the pre-show at the Sprint Center on September 24 for So You Think You Can Dance! Over 35 dancers performed some of our award-winning competition routines prior to the show at the Sprint Center. All of our dancers then performed our Dreams Come True Finale number – to a huge crowd! After the show, many of our dancers were excited to meet, take pictures, and get autographs from Lauren, Kent, and the whole SYTYCD dancers! It was great! Pictures are coming soon!
Break A Leg Dancers!
Now Offering Free Wi-Fi
DDA is now proud to offer free wi-fi to our clients! This will be great for parents who like to wait for their dancer in the lobby or for dancers who need to finish up homework between classes! Our new stereo system is computerized as well – eliminating the need for switching back and forth between cd’s and saving valuable class time!
Classes begin on September 7th!

DDA Dancers Wow the Crowd at the Harlem Globetrotters!!
Our dancers performed at the evening game of the Harlem Globetrotters! The dancers performed their Mickey Production "Mickey’s in the House" routine that was choreographed for their trip to Orlando, Florida last October. The dancers were the halftime entertainment show at the Sprint Center and then had the opportunity to be the "Honorary Cheerleaders" for the Globetrotters and sit with the team. It was a great night!

Disney Trip October 2009
WOW! Congratulations to our fabulous Disney Dancers!! We had a great trip and an outstanding performance. Our dancers were treated to a great week at Disney World at the end of October. The dancers were able to take part in a private Disney Dancin’ Workshop hosted by one of the Disney choreographers. They learned several routines that are being performed in the Disney parks…lots of fun! And the workshop ended with a fun opportunity to dance with Goofy!! Our performance at Downtown Disney was also great – our dancers performed in a 25 minute show and ended with a fun Mickey Production. We received lots of compliments and a standing ovation from the audience. Thanks to Miss Melissa, Miss Kate, Miss Nadine, and Miss Denise for chaperoning the trip. Our dancers represented the state of Kansas very well! We will be posting pictures soon…so check back!
Master Class with Don Mirault!
WOW! What an incredible Master Class we had over the weekend! We were so fortunate to fly Don Mirault in from Las Vegas to work with our dancers at DDA. The girls worked so hard and learned some fun pieces in so many different dance styles. Our girls were even treated to a fun tribute routine to Michael Jackson….they had fun with that one! I know the parents had a good time in the Parent Seminar, too - and Don was able to answer many of their questions about competitions, scoring, etc. Overall, it was a terrific kick-off to our Fall dance season! Thanks to all of the dancers who participated and the parents who made it all possible. We also want to thank Don for his time and talent – he is awesome!!!
