Private Lessons
EnPointe Ballet

Private lessons are available to any student to improve their ability and confidence in themselves. Private lessons allow our staff member quality time to devote to your child and help improve any area of weaknesses.  Lessons can not be started until payment is turned in to the DDA office with payment.

Types of Private Lessons Available: There are two different choices when it comes to private lessons. One type of lessons are available for technique only - to work on any type of dance technique, cleaning, instruction for dance tryouts, etc. The second type is for competitive students that are wanting to learn a routine for competitions, recital, etc.

Cost:
Choice #1: Individual technique private lessons are $35 per half hour. These can be scheduled with your choice of teacher for one session or more.  There is no choreography - these are technique only.

Choice #2: Private Lessons for individual dances are priced by the session. The cost of a private lesson session is $375. This covers 10 lessons of 30 minutes each, all choreography, music splicing, teaching time, use of studio, and teachers presence at required comps. It does NOT include your entry fees for comps or costume fees. Teachers may not attend optional competitions. You will not be allowed to start your lesson without the full payment.  Payments need to be made to DDA for $75 and to your individual teacher for the remaining $300.

Teacher Preference: You may request your teacher of choice and we will do our best to place you. Many of our teachers do offer private lessons and we have limited space available for lessons. It is your responsibility to arrange with your teacher if you have to miss a class. We require that you let your teacher know in advance if you will not attend. Cell phone numbers and e-mails for correspondence will be provided.

Music Choice: The style of dance and music is your choice, but the teacher will have the final decision. Many popular songs are overused at competition and they may be able to offer an alternate suggestion for you.

Costume Choice: Once you have chosen you song and style of dance, we have many catalogs for you to choose your solo/duet costumes from. All teams have first choice of costumes, so you will have to wait until all teams are decided. If you want to put together your own costume, it is REQUIRED that you get your teachers' approval as well asapproval from Miss Denise.

We look forward to helping your child attain better work ethics while achieving personal goals and building self-confidence.
